The Player's Store, Program Rules & Terms

1. Program Overview

1.1 Purpose

The Player's Store operates a direct-to-consumer disc golf equipment platform where every disc sale generates revenue that is shared with professional and amateur disc golf players who participate in our program.

1.2 Revenue Sharing Model

  • A percentage of each disc sale is allocated to the player sponsorship fund
  • Players receive payments based on disc sales, customer selections, and performance metrics
  • Revenue sharing percentages are determined monthly and communicated to players

1.3 Sponsor Visibility

Participants may list current sponsors in their profiles. Sponsor logos and mentions will be displayed publicly unless the player flags them as "Confidential" during registration or profile updates.

2. Eligibility Requirements

2.1 Age Requirement

  • Participants must be 18 years or older
  • Proof of age may be requested

2.2 Player Status

  • Open to professional and amateur disc golf players
  • PDGA membership recommended but not required
  • Active tournament participation encouraged

2.3 Geographic Limitations

  • Program currently available to players worldwide
  • Payout methods may vary by country
  • Local tax obligations are player's responsibility

3. Registration & Profile Management

3.1 Account Information

  • All registration information must be accurate and current
  • Players must update their profiles within 30 days of any changes
  • False information may result in program removal

3.2 Profile Content

  • Player bios must be appropriate and professional
  • The Player's Store reserves the right to edit or remove inappropriate content
  • Players grant permission for profile use in marketing materials

3.3 Sponsor Updates

  • Any change in sponsorship status must be updated within 30 days
  • New sponsorship deals must be disclosed to maintain profile accuracy
  • Confidential sponsor settings can be changed at any time

4. Revenue Distribution

4.1 Payment Structure

  • Payments are calculated monthly based on disc sales
  • Minimum payout threshold: $25.00
  • Payments below threshold carry over to following month

4.2 Payment Methods

  • PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, Bank Transfer, or Check
  • Players responsible for any transaction fees
  • International payments may incur additional fees

4.3 Payment Schedule

  • Monthly payments processed by the 15th of following month
  • Payment delays communicated via email
  • 1099 tax forms issued for US players earning $600+ annually

5. Player Obligations

5.1 Professional Conduct

  • Players must maintain professional behavior in all public interactions
  • No disparaging remarks about The Player's Store, other players, or sponsors
  • Violations may result in program suspension or termination

5.2 Social Media Guidelines

  • Players encouraged to promote The Player's Store positively
  • Use of provided marketing materials and hashtags appreciated
  • No negative commentary about program or competitors

5.3 Tournament Participation

  • Active tournament play encouraged but not required
  • Results and achievements help with profile promotion
  • Major wins and achievements should be reported for profile updates

6. Sponsor Relationships

6.1 Sponsor Conflicts

  • Players responsible for ensuring sponsor agreements don't prohibit program participation
  • No conflicts with The Player's Store promotions or partnerships
  • Players must disclose any potential conflicts of interest

6.2 Confidential Sponsors

  • Players may mark sponsors as confidential to prevent public display
  • Confidential sponsor information used only for conflict checking
  • Settings can be updated anytime through player dashboard

6.3 Sponsor Endorsements

  • Players may not claim The Player's Store endorsement of their sponsors
  • Sponsor relationships are separate from The Player's Store partnerships

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Player Content

  • Players retain rights to their biographical content and images
  • Grant The Player's Store license to use content for promotional purposes
  • Content may be used on website, social media, and marketing materials

7.2 Program Materials

  • The Player's Store retains all rights to program branding and materials
  • Players may use provided promotional materials as intended
  • No modification of The Player's Store logos or branding

8. Data Privacy & Security

8.1 Information Collection

  • Personal and payment information collected for program administration
  • Information shared only as necessary for program operation
  • Players may request data deletion upon program exit

8.2 Communication

  • Players consent to program-related communications
  • Marketing communications optional and can be opted out
  • Important program updates sent regardless of marketing preferences

9. Program Modifications

9.1 Rule Changes

  • The Player's Store may modify program rules with 30 days notice
  • Material changes require player consent to continue participation
  • Minor administrative changes effective immediately

9.2 Revenue Model Changes

  • Significant changes to revenue sharing communicated 60 days in advance
  • Players may exit program if unsatisfied with changes
  • Historical earnings unaffected by future changes

10. Termination

10.1 Player-Initiated

  • Players may leave program at any time with 30 days written notice
  • Final payments processed according to normal schedule
  • Profile removed from public display upon departure

10.2 Company-Initiated

  • The Player's Store may remove players for rule violations
  • Serious violations may result in immediate termination
  • Final payments honored for period prior to violation

10.3 Program Discontinuation

  • 90 days notice provided if entire program discontinued
  • All earned payments honored through final payment period
  • Player data handled according to privacy policy

11. Dispute Resolution

11.1 Communication First

  • Players encouraged to contact support for any concerns
  • Most issues resolved through direct communication
  • Response guaranteed within 48 hours during business days

11.2 Formal Disputes

  • Unresolved disputes handled through binding arbitration
  • Arbitration conducted according to American Arbitration Association rules
  • Legal fees allocated according to arbitrator decision
